Slim.in is a weight loss intervention developed with inputs from dietetics and psychology. It helps people lose weight via weight loss groups that meet once a week and are facilitated by a psychologist. The groups are typically run at a venue close to you, ideally in a building society clubhouse.
Slim.in was set up in UK in September 2014 and launched its web-based weight loss intervention in September 2017. This Linkedin post by Navin, CEO of slim.in, gives a great idea of the “why” behind slim.in.
In February 2018, we launched our first offline group in Raheja Sherwood (Goregaon).
Over time, we realised the online intervention usage was sporadic and shallow. So, in April 2018, we decided to retire the online version. We hope to bring it back in the form of a mobile app fairly soon.
In the meantime, we plan to focus on our offline groups.
